Our intention with this curriculum is to set you up with a complete toolkit so you feel confident in starting a successful and regenerative career through self-employment and entrepreneurship—that is, business ownership!

Three goals of this course:
1. Empower young adults to become regenerative entrepreneurs.
2. Provide a complete toolkit to start a career in self-employment.
3. Cultivate a resilient and mutually beneficial economy in our communities.
You have passion and you’re contemplating turning that passion into a thriving business. So where do you start? Every person who is selling a product or providing a service has been exactly where you are now, at the beginning.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Review this Going into Business Checklist before you begin. It’s a good idea to go through the whole checklist at the beginning and make notes of the thing you have questions about, aren’t sure yet if they apply to you, don’t yet understand, etc. You may find yourself facing some questions that you haven’t thought about before. It is important to explore all facets of your upcoming adventure. Be brave, answer the questions honestly. It’s possible you aren’t quite ready to begin going down this path and that’s ok. It’s best to begin this journey when YOU are ready.
